I'm Devin, an amateur photographer and videographer with a genuine interest in being behind the camera. I've documented pieces of my life ever since I've had a camera on hand, and at this point, my camera roll basically functions as a second memory.
Outside of shoots, concerts and festivals have become a passion. In addition to the music and community, they offer a fascinating visual environment for photos and video. Spending several years living in Colorado got me just as hooked on hiking and capturing the outdoors. Travel has also played a part in shaping who I am. A three-month backpacking trip through Asia in 2025 pushed me to get more intentional with my work and a good part of what's on this site came out of that trip.
Computer science study, freelance web design, and social media experience add a practical layer to my creative side. I'm comfortable with technical development from file management to building and troubleshooting this portfolio site. Time as a barista rounds me out with a customer-service instinct: easy to work with, patient, and comfortable adapting on the fly.
I don't have years of professional experience or a formal background in interior photography specifically, but I'm detail-oriented with a creative edge. I pick things up fast and I'm eager to learn. If you're open to exploring a working relationship with someone who's hungry to grow in this space, I'd love to talk.
A quick montage of recent work, followed by a few standalone clips in both vertical and horizontal. All shot on iPhone.
Skills, gear, and the way I approach a shoot.
Natural light, landscapes, travel, detail shots, concerts, and people. Comfortable shooting in any environment.
Handheld footage with subtle panning, motion tracking, and an eye for perspective. Focused on b-roll and storytelling through motion.
CapCut, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Final Cut, plus AI tools like Krea for detail work. Comfortable with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook trends with experience creating short-form video and posts across all three.
Comfortable working with gimbals, flash panels, tripods, and Bluetooth mics. Currently shooting on iPhone and planning to upgrade gear soon, open to whatever fits the job best.
Outside of shoots, I make my own festival outfits and do professional-grade makeup. Both feed directly into how I think about styling, color, and detail on camera.
Months of travel photography taught me to work fast, improvise with limited gear, and deliver in unfamiliar settings. I communicate clearly, take direction well, and pick up new techniques quickly.
If this feels like it has potential, or you've got a better direction in mind, I'd love to jump on a call to talk about how I could help.
